Designing Conditioning Programs
Saturday - 8:30 am - 10:30 am
The art of program design seamlessly merges with the science of movement preparation in this riveting workshop. You'll start by discovering the latest methods to determine target heart rate and how to integrate those methods with the new science of "power breathing." From that solid foundation you'll progress to dynamic warm-up techniques that will prepare the client for high intensity exercise. You'll see for yourself how merging power breathing, heart rate training and movement preparation will reduce injury, improve performance and dramatically increase your client's endurance.

New Directions in Cardio Training
Saturday - 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
Treadmills? Elliptical trainers? Stationary bikes? These old school methods of cardio training are reliable but hardly exciting. If you are looking to inject some high-octane excitement into your training, you'll love these integrated high-intensity drills which will revitalize your workouts. Whether you client is a weekend warrior or simply spends their day chasing the kids, this program cleverly merges advanced training concepts such as assisted and resisted running with agility drills, lateral movements and decceleration techniques. You'll be talking about this class for days afterward!

Top Trends in Strength & Conditioning
Saturday - 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
This fascinating workshop will teach you innovative new variations for strength training program design, all emphasizing change and variation. You'll learn new techniques to improve overload and enhance muscle fiber recruitment patterns while you learn to maximize training time for optimal results. If you are seeking to take your clients to a higher level of overall physical conditioning, this outstanding workshop is the key.

Fat Burning/Muscle Building Workouts
Saturday - 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm
A "metabolic workout" simultaneously builds muscle and burns fat and this course will detonate any misconceptions you may have had about how to design metabolic programs. Using a variety of readily-available strength and conditioning implements including monster bands, medicine balls and plyometric boxes, this class will show you how to help your clients get stronger than they ever thought possible while simultaneously annihilating body fat.

Rotational Core Strength
Sunday - 8:30 am - 10:30 pm
"Should I or shouldn't I?" Rotational core training has become highly controversial lately and this fearless class examines both the risks and the benefits of spinal rotation. Merging the teachings of two icons in our industry, Stuart McGill and Gray Cook, we will show you how to transition your core training routine from a core stabilization program into a program that safely incorporates high-intensity rotational training. You'll finish with new-school core training drills that will allow your client to maintain optimal spinal alignment even while executing advanced movement patterns.

Innovative Conditioning Drills
Sunday - 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
A good "conditioning" program manipulates cardio and strength training to achieve physiological adaptation, and at any age, a higher level of conditioning translates into improved function, performance and weight management. This superb workshop will help you to rev up your client's workout with both general conditioning drills and specific strength activities. These drills are appropriate for personal training programs, boot camps and group exercise classes alike, and are so much fun your clients may just forget how hard they are working!!

Understanding Myofascial Release
Sunday - 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
This concise and practical course will thoroughly explain both the science and the application of self-myofascial release (SMR). You'll understand how SMR can be an effective part of a fitness program, but you'll explore the risks as well as the benefits. You'll appreciate understanding the application of SMR to specific muscles, as well as the candid discussion of how scope of practice affects the implementation of the technique.

Nutrient Timing for Optimal Results
Sunday - 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm
You know that WHAT you eat is vital to your results, but are you aware that WHEN you eat is equally important? In this fascinating workshop you will discover how to sync your diet to on your current levels. You'll also learn how to calibrate optimal ratios of carbs, fat and protein to your client's specific goals. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, you'll learn how to coordinate meals, snacks and hydration to achieve specific effects such as muscle repair, improved endurance, and fat loss.
